Dont Forget ICR sponsorship of the Orphange

Postby shaz » 28 Apr 2008 06:30

Just a reminder that the holiday season is now upon us , and as we mentioned over the previous months, ICR will be sponsoring the Mugla Childrens Orphange this year, John sold DVDs to start the sponsorship going, and you can now purchase ICR T shirts in resort for £5 and once again these profits will all go to the Orphanage. If you have gifts that you would like to leave for the children, then bring them along to the office , and when we have enough donations to take , then these will all be delivered to the children.

Thank you all for your continued support for this good cause and we shall see you all here in Icmeler soon.

Sharon can people still leave left over shower gels, deoderants and stuff as well? Also any towels, flip flops, etc?

Also what ages are the children? Are they all ages? Silly question I know but never been to an orphange??

Hows about any loose change you have in your pocket call in the office before you go home, say goodby to Rami, Shaz, Craig,Kerry and Taz,then leave your change there for the orphanage.
You can change your notes but not loose change, unless you want to give it to the Dalaman Airport benevoment fund by buying coffee and a McDonalds.
I always hang on to the notes till my next visit.

Yes you can still leave any left over toiletries etc with us , any childrens clothing all ages is welcome and it doesnt have to be new, Toys always bring a smile to their faces, also i thought itmay be nice to bring like some colouring books, pens, pencil cases jigsaw puzzles etc, Yes any left over coins or notes are much apprciated and all money donations will be added to the existing collections from the DVDs and the T shirts, again this year john will do another DVd and we are working on another idea of a charity night.

Hi Shaz, Are there a lot of children at the orphanage? I've got loads of Disney videos would these be acceptable as they're in English.

Unfortunately VHS videos dont play over here, they use a different format. I had to bring my VHS machine from the UK to play all my old videos for my little girl.

It'd be great if you could give us a list of things that'd be useful please admin?
Weight's a major consideration to avoid charges on the way home and I'd be more than happy to leave our bats and balls as well as toiletries, towels etc
As far as bringing things out goes, what about hair bands/acessories too? It'd be nice to bring treats that we take for granted as well as essentials

Marjory thank you so much, for your kind thoughts, and we will make sure that your donation goes into the fund for the Orphanage to enjoy.

As for the other questions that everyone has asked, the orphanage will be grateful for anything. We will collect Toiletries clothes, Hairbands any treats that the children will enjoy . We realise that weight resritctions do make things a bit difficult , but yes they will even accept your beach Towels, Anything that anyone wishes to donate will take to the Children.

Once again thank you so much in your continued support.
