baby on transfer bus help please

we are travelling in august and my daughter and hubby have a baby do they take a car seat for the transfer bus or does he just go on one of their knees anyone else taken a baby know the answer please

I am actually not sure if the strap would fit, never seen it done on a bus

Normally with babies people would book a private transfer and then they supply the baby seat
