Hi My name is Joan [Sunshine] and I live in Derbyshire.

I have visited Turkey 19 times in the past 15 or so years and my husband and I visit Icmeler at least once a year if not more. We have stayed at various hotels/apartments around the resort.

We love Icmeler and feel that wherever else we have been, nothing compares to it.

We now have many Turkish friends in the resort and count down the days/weeks to our next visit.

Don't know why it has taken me so long to log on to the ICR site but better late than never.

Hi Joan and a very warm welcome. You must be an expert on Icmeler considering how long you have been going, I bet you have seen a lot of changes. I suspect you will know more about the place than any of us! :D

Hi

Thx for the welcome. Thought I might be in good company.

Glad you enjoyed reading my review. Now I've got the hang of it, there will no doubt be more to come.

Thx for the warm welcome. You're quite right, I know Icmeler better than my home town. I have seen changes, but usually all for the good.

I have been asked more than once if I am Turkish or if I live there (if happened twice this year on holiday) so must look as if I'm a permanent Icmelerite (I only wish I was).

Hi Sue

Thanks for the welcome. I don't know about valuable advice but I know where to get a cheap pint of chilled Efes (you have to get your priorities right).

Hope you have a brilliant time in October, I have just booked for next June - roll on.

BFN

Joan

hi Katie

I am glad I have joined the forum (at last). You needs facebook when you've got this.

When I get the hang of things I will try and upload some photographs. No doubt like everybody elses but you might recognise a face or two.

My experiences (all pleasant) are too numerous to mention and my advice, JUST ENJOY ICMELER - its heaven on earth!!!

Joan
