Hi Folks, am returning to Icmeler with the family for the fourth time (in 14 months - love it !) on 30th September. Was really pleased to find this site - its keeping me going until we arrive :D Love the list of packing essentials as I thought that I was the only person that takes a frying pan and washing line/pegs  Jan

Hi Everyone, been introduced to this site by good friends of mine who gave me the opportunity to go visit Icmeler with them on their 13th visit. What can I say, except i'm hooked. From the wonderful hospitality at the Angel Inn Apartments to tasting the real Turkish Cuisine at Kerem's and everything in between, has left me wanting more......

Hi and welcome, dot - Icmeler has that effect on most of us too! Once you've been once, you want to come back time and time again - less than three weeks until we're back, can't wait!

Hi Blondie,
Thanks for your comments. Yes I can see why it affects most people. I could not get over how much energy and zest for life, the locals had. Very infectious, even though its a job, my feelings were that they could teach us british a thing or two. They work for very little and are so appreciative, I loved it. Im having problems uploading photos, just wish I could share them with everyone, (don't laugh) I know everyone else probably has exactly the same ones, but I was just so excited by the whole experience, I loved it. Saddo or what, Dot xx
