HI Robbo ,thanks for the welcome . we are in icmeler sept 7th / sept 21st . Now that weve been going to icmeler for 15 years ,we just chill out enjoy the sun plus visit freinds and the old haunts to see the changes . The first holiday we had in icmeler we paid just under 30p a pint .We stayed at the Maratim ,which is now the Avlu 4 owned by murat .When it was the Maratim it was owned by a German family and they used a system of changing currency into coloured beads, then pay for your meals and drinks with the beads . I hope you have a great holiday and i'll try to leave some efes for you

Thats very considerate of you, 30p a pint that brings back memories, but we still cant complain about the prices now, still alot cheaper than my local rugby club.
Hope you have a great holiday also :D

Hi Janette.thanks for the welcome :D .i'm not certain BUT i think the Maratim was the only place that did the beads thing .It was our first time in Icmeler ,so didn't really go to other hotel/apparts. We had many great times and meals at the Rising Sun restaurant, which was just the other side of the road to the Moonlight restaurant :D .Looking forward to our next visit ..Hope you have a brilliant time this year byeeeeeeeeee
