Portable DVD players work fine with the two pin adaptor but try not to leave it plugged overnight or for a long time as they do tend to get very hot, worth keeping an eye on especially with the kids around.

Your lucky, we have had some rubbish ones - either so fuzzy you cant see , people sitting or walking past the screen or dont load at all - we even bought journey to the centre of the earth and it was the wrong film!! it was an earlier tv version. Had a few good ones too but they all seem to have scenes missing once you see a real dvd version. But for a quid you cant moan. If you buy from the man about half way down the canal market on the Majestic side he will pop the ones in the player to show you the quality and that they work - but be warned, they may have bits missing still!
As for watches i always go to the watch shop next to Gamsees (Harrys biker store) tattoo shop in the underground market. They are top quality fakes and really do last. Beware of other places who sell you stainless straps - they are just coated copper like material. You only get what you pay for, you can get 3 for a tenner most places but dont expect them to last forever. Im sure everyone one of us has different opinions on dvds and watches, this is just mine!!

I bought a watch from a looky looky man in Spain & the winder fell off before he was out of sight long the beach. He replaced it but the replacement stopped working within 24 hours. That's life.

The guy you mention half way down the market with his dvd's, we had a good laugh about them being filmed with a camcorder in the cinema. The quality on some is atrocious, on one though I looked at, it was near perfect (Coraline). You're getting what you pay for I guess. I'm afraid as a movie enthusiast, I've had the full works for years since almost dvd's were invented (Bragging hehe), I'm just too sensitive to the pic quality to buy one, but if you aren't too fussy about that, and don't mind that it's more pirate than the word "arrrrrrr" - it's a bargain I guess for something still at the cinema.
