Iv'e just been out to B & M Bargains and bought those portable luggage scales for £1.99, what a bargain! :D

no disrespect but not so sure i would put faith in some 1.99 scales, i can imagine getting to the airport and the 'carefully weighed' cases show up at about 27kg each!!

I got some of those and weighed a bag of sugar it was perfect my cases were the same weight when we got to Manchester as when we weighed them with the scales

then it may be a bargain after all, the cheap poundland ones here would put a bag of sugar at about 2.5 stone

thats because your a cheap scate :oops: & only paid a £1 i bought mine in b&m but sure i paid £2.99 they are great even have tape measure to measure hand luggage

Post office doing 2.36 today and Tesco 2.37, must be near the 2.5 mark in resort? i be out the following friday

Just used my new scales to weigh my sons case as he is flying out to Canada, also weighed it with my mums scales in case mine were dodgy, but they are spot on. Best £1.99 iv'e spent in ages. :D

The ones from B&M and are exactly the same make as the ones from T J Hughes I got mine for TJ Hughes and paid 4.99 then saw them in B&M a few weeks later for 1.99. Mine were spot in in June/

A bit like trusting that the scales at Dalaman Airport are accurate (I have my doubts) :!:

I bought my digital scales off ebay last year,I used to use the bathroom scales before that would only give an idea of weight,sometimes they would have been 2 kilos out !!,the last 2 holidays abroad,the digital scales have been spot on with the airports,its just great to be able to weigh your cases before you come home,and not be panicking at the airport!!.

My Mrs did the same, cost about 3 quid, and are spot on.
