IDEAS PLEASE

Postby El Tel » 04 Aug 2009 08:58

Hi getting married next year in Icmeler and would like to make up a broucher for my guest's on a where's- where and what's- what around icmeler and really would love some recommendations from you guy's. There are around 40 people attending so want to make the experience hassle free and think a broucher would be ideal. What do you guy's think about this idea.....

Think it's a lovely idea, what type of things do you want to put in it ?

I agree, it's a good idea.

However you are going to run into the same problem most of us have in the past, when asking for advice about a certain restaurant, bar, food, drink etc. etc. It comes down to a personal choice, and trying to put something together for so many people will be quite difficult.

I think it's a great idea and would certianly help your guests get the most out of their holiday.
It can take a few days to find your feet and get your bearings when you're trying somewhere new.

I also think it's a good idea to recommend restaurants - some are better than others and, as King Tut says, it is all down to personal choice, but if it was my first visit I would certainly be guided by someone who knew the resort, for the first few days at least!

It would probably help if you included a map with various restaurants and hotels pin-pointed as well as showing where the canal and beach are etc. I remember the second time I visited Icmeler having just arrived heading for the beach and ending up in the old village. Well quite a few streets do look the same!

You should also include the ICR web address and suggest your guests check out the forum before going!

I know of many restaurants to recommend and i know its down to personal choice, but was thinking other stuff to include, could anyone recommend hairdressers, turkish baths, where to print off a map etc...All ideas would be great and make it more fun for all, instead of my guests getting lost for the week.
