Silver Bangle

Postby dodge » 02 Aug 2009 15:47

Hi all,

Has anybody who has recently been to icmeler tell me if there are any nice silver bangles to be had and where from? My daughter wants to buy one for her friends 18th, any idea roughly how much it would cost?

Cheers Dodge :)

Never really bought silver in Icmeler, but I do remember seeing some lovely silver bangles along the canal I think it was the same side as Majestic's half way down. Again not sure on prices either as i didn't ask.

Shop (Captain Silver?) next door to Harrys steakhouse always has a nice range, lovely fake Tiffany ones. Real one £279, their price £23!

The Silver Bangles sold on the canal side are worth considering as is the silver shop next door to the Mandalin restaurant.Another shop is Star Gold and Silver which is situated between Tin Tin bar and Jimmy's Okimo restaurant. Prices are variable dependent upon wieght, a good purchase can be had for £20 - £25.

Hiya all,

My parents brought me 3 silver bangles for Christmas last year. I have quite small wrists & normal bangles are always too big for me. My mum had some that she brought in Covent Garden, London, that were the right size for me. When they were in Icmeler at Christmas they had some made for me in a silver shop in Marmaris near Bar Street. They are just plain solid silver bangles & hand made. They cost mum & dad £25.00 each but were worth it due to being hand made & to a specific size. I liked them so much I brought another 2 for myself back in my & these were the same price.

The same guy also made me a silver lightening bolt pendant which is about 3inches long with the bail. He charged me £27.00 for this be made. I had found one on ebay for £29.00 from Amercia but then had to add shipping costs. £27.00 for a hand made one was quite fair I thought. All the bangles & pendant were made in 2-3 days.

This may not be suitable for you, but thought I would pass on the information.
