There has been mentioned that we will have to fill in a medical questionairre on the way in or on the way back from paradise - anyone know if this is true?
cheers

The cabin crew will bring the forms round. It just asks you if you have had flu like symptoms recently that kind of stuff. Who ever photocopied out forms didn't do a good job as half the form hadn't been copied.

Yeah i had to do it when i went to Adana too...and my mum told me they had to do it when goin to Dalaman.
Basically just asking if you have any flu like symptoms, been in contact with anyone,if you have left the UK in the last 10days...
Only a small form

They also had some kind of camera mounted to a tv screen, they were randomly selecting people to walk infront of the camera, not sure what that was about, it was manned by 2 women wareing masks so assume it was something to do with the swine flu thing but not sure what the tv screen was for.

It's a thermal camera and display, they are checking for elevated body temperature which is a symptom of flu, although you think everyone would be caught because of the extrenal temperature, the core body temperature would still show as normal on the thermal display unless you are actually ill,

OK, so what happens if you are glowing thermally? First flight home?

We had this nonsense years back with foot & mouth when we went to Mexico and were bombarded with forms, footbaths and very suspicious immigration officials.

By all accounts if you are showing a temperature they take you to the local hospital and quarantine you for 24 hours. If you are ok after this you can continue with your holiday, if not then they will keep you there for five days and then fly you back home.

This is what we were told while we were over there last week.

We were informed that if you were showing a temperature that you would be subject to a medical exam :?: :?:

Our 23 year old daughter has Swine Flu now. There is nothing we can do really, except hope that she recovers ok (which she seems to be doing with the help of Tammiflu) and either avoid catching the virus or get the flu and recover before september 3rd.

Here's hoping
