you're just like me joan - my mates can't beleive i leave it sooo late and usually call round to laugh at me! they always do theirs a couple of weeks beforehand but given the amount of white linen pants I take, they'd be like old rags if i did it too early - nothing to do with me being the worst ironer in the world, honest

am soo forgetful Bec, that I always leave holiday essentials like the adaptors in the case after I get home
I also take a bank of plugs on a long lead - very handy for straighters, hairdryer etc when 3 girlies are all trying to get ready at once!! don't do what I did last year though - the one i took was the broken one grrr

only prob with leaving things in the case though is that i forget what's in there [flip flops, sarongs etc] and usually end up buying new ones before I find them hehe

I have that problem aswell, travel plugs just seem to disape they are. Luckily they are only 49p each in our local home bargains so I just buy new ones.

I usually pack 2 days before we go that way you still have a day to nip to the shops if you forget anything essential ( like more shoes girls  )

Then the day before we go we can relax with a wee pre holiday drink or 5

Think if I packed too early I would forget what I had put in and go racking through the cases and it would all need ironing again.......

Normally have stuff in the case that I buy when I buy it and then for about 4/6 weeks before I go things go in and back out many times, and didn't iron this year before I went just done any when over there, as normally even if it's been ironed before it is still creased when I take it out, so tend to do it over there no point in doing it twice :)
