I have decided to stop doing the Slimming graph due to the lack of interest.
Thanks to all those who have taken part in our big slim and good luck to all those who are still trying to lose weight.

I started a slimming thread on the non-icmeler thread but would like to start this one up again if anyone is still dieting before going back to Icmeler.

Ok, I'm gonna dig this thread up again. I've put a few pounds on lately (Christmas mainly lol) and am just over 13 stone (187 lbs to be precise) so am aiming to loose at least half a stone before we go (29th July). Ideal weight would be 12.5 stone (175 lbs). You may say it sounds easy but with my lifestyle (and lack of will power) could find it quite hard.

I will start running again in March (lighter nights and warmer climate) so that should hopefully shift a few pounds lol

Just looking at the graph that redrhino used to do, my wife and I are graphing our progress using Excel spreadsheet as we have some new scales that measure weight, BMI, body fat and muscle density amongst other things...

Good Luck Sunseeker, just keep thinking about your holiday & hopefully this will keep you motivated. When I popped back to England just for the Christmas period I also put some weight on (couldn't resist the Quality Street tin). I have been back in Turkey 4 weeks now & have successfully managed to lose 5.2kg. Maybe we can get some more people to join us with the count down to the season & possibly post some yummy slimming receipes on here to help us.
Keep us updated on how you get on :)

Sure will keep you updated and yes, it would be nice to get some more people on-bard with this.

I have 24 weeks to loose 12-14 pounds - shouldn't be too hard but I've noticed in the past that the nearer you get to your goal the harder it is to loose those last few pounds. As I say, the running should help and am also going to dust off my weights and start pumping some iron - I will have a six pack for my holidays if it kills me

Well today was when I fell off the diet wagon :( Went to Mac Donalds & had the Big Mac & trust me I could have eaten it twice. Not down hearted though as the diet will begin again tomorrow (Sunday 9th Feb). Next Sunday I will weigh & see how I have got on. If you hear nothing you know the news was bad
