Hi,
Any decent places to eat and drink around the Selen 2 ? (the wife prefers the food & I like the drink  )

You'll be spoiled for choice - there are loads of places within a short distance of the Selen 2, but two good choices (and probably the nearest) are the Selam, which is just down the road and does great authentic Turkish food - and the Holiday Restaurant, just a bit further down from the Selam, which does excellent set menus at great value for money.

The Holiday is a good place to have a drink too - in fact, you tend not to find many actual "pubs" in Icmeler. Most places are more like bar/restaurants, serving food too, with entertainment and so on later in the evenings. You won't have any problems finding somewhere to have a drink, that's for sure.

Try Sabris Bar around the corner from the Selen hotel, nice quiet bar to relax and have a drink. If you come out of your hotel and turn right walk past the supermarket on your left and take your next left and it's just there on the left attached to the Mete Aparts and just before the Avlu 4 aparts. They also do an excellent BBQ on a Wednesday night.
