Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows of any bars that hire out laptops while you are in them?
My son will prob want to check his facebook and I need to keep and eye on my cash account

Most places will let you use their laptops if you ask them. My Sister used Vince's and Zaza's while we were away.

We were drinking in the above bars when she asked to use their laptops, but failing that, there are several internet cafes, no idea how much these cost though.

Just remember that you won't be able to access your online account abroad unless you notify them about the dates you are going.

The last thing I would ever do is access my bank account from a laptop/pc at a bar or internet cafe that I have no control over.

The problem is you will not know if there are any viruses, spyware, trojans installed with or without the owners knowledge. The risk is just too great.

I think that depends on the bank, our company internet gateway is in France and I have never had an issue accessing my accounts from work, can't access I-player though as it says I am out of the country...

thanks for the replies it's not my bank account it's the balance screen for my cash passport did it last year when we were in Gumbet and found that a lot of the bars rented laptops for the evening so my son could be kept amused for about 5 lira a night bargain lol

many bars/resturants n hotels have computers for you to use, and the staff are really helpfull, i had a few probs with my email address some of the letters were different on turkish keyboards but staff always willing to help :D
