Think ours were some of the first to be sold,i bought them in 2008,I was saying to hubby last year that I would try to get some made in a lightweight cotton, pretty much like sheets as we only really want it to cover the sunbeds as we usually hire towels from the hotel. When I saw these on ebay it seemed as though somebody had read my mind.

I've got pink , hubby has blue and we have an orange one so that I can wash the others one at a time.We hire 2 towels each from the hotel,as they are only changed about twice a week.

We took our loungermates with us in May and found them to be really good. They dried much faster than our itsas because they are so much lighter, I would recommend them.

Will be trying mine out for the first time in 3 weeks. A couple of weeks after they sent mine, they sent me another by mistake, I emailed them and they said after they had refunded the postage it was not worth their while me returning it so I ended up with 2 :D
So I can wash one and use one now too :D

Hi

I bought one a few years ago. Good quality but pretty heavy if you are thinking about weight restrictions. Also had mine washed whilst out there and the launderette ruined it. I faded quite badly as well so in the end I binned it before I came home. Waste of money in my opinion.

I got mine from the Itsa website and they are thick towelling and brilliant. I leave mine in Turkey with a friend as they are quite heavy as someone has mentioned. If you go to the same Hotel/Apartment or frequent a bar a lot I am sure you can leave a few things there as many holidaymakers do- lets face it, go to Icmeler and if you don't return you have either very bad taste or are brain dead! I thoroughly recommend the Itsa but only from the Itsa site, I got a pillow with mine- also recommended.

Thanks

They are lightweight terry towelling,as we only really wanted something to cover the sunbed mattresses as we didn't want towels slipping off all the time,we originally bought "itsas" but they were quite heavy and take a fair while to dry ,"loungermates" are made to a similar pattern ,are nowhere near as heavy but do the same job. They are not as good quality as "itsa" but also not as expensive.Of the two I would but "loungermates" again,I have experience of both.

Itsa also have a 'lightweight' version which is what we've used for the past few years. The only problem that we find is that if you've been to the beach, when you fold the towel into a bag it is still damp. Also the bag is too wide as it is the width of the sun lounger and I expect it's the same with the Loungermate. Apart from that they're excellent. They have offers on their website now and again.

My "ITSAS" were the lightweight ones, the "loungermates" are even lighter. They dry much faster in the sun too,if I could sew I would make cotton ones using them as templates as I only want something to cover the mattresses,if they are plastic mattresses they make you hot and sticky and if they are material ones by the end of the season they don't look or smell very nice.
