So when does your holiday start, after you have just finished work, on the way to the airport or at the airport or when you've reached your destination. Mine is when you've stepped out of your house and locked the door, as the travelling is all part of your holiday experience.

I dont like the travelling part, I think it is a lot of hassle and very tiring. My holiday starts when I have collected my case from the turntable at Dalaman airport and I am sat on the transfer bus knowing that in a couple of hours I will be drinking a cocktail in one of my favorite places in the world. Its a four hour flight yet from leaving my front door to actually checking into apartment in Icmeler is about 12 hours later. Silly as it sounds I wish I could get there without the travelling part-I hate it!

Mine starts the minute that plane takes off.... 4 weeks tomorrow....oh it's been a long time coming

It's always such a long day travelling, though absolutely worth it, if only you could do a "beam me up Scotty" and transport yourself from your UK home to your Icmeler home

Mazz, looks like well be in Icmeler at the same time! we l;eave on the 1st of sept, flying from glasgow, cant wait!

Mine starts as soon as I get to airport. Love the buzz at airport, love the flight, love the transfer but most of all love opening the accomodation door. Cant wait, 15 days and counting.

the minute i log off my computer on my last day of work and put on my 'out of office' message - best feeling in the world!!

Could not agree more, as soon as the door is locked i am officially on holiday and on our way to our favourite place 3weeks to go mon 30th 2 weeks in paradise

As soon has i see the sign for manchester airport 30 aug for us.cant wait.oh hates the transfer to hotel ,i dont care,just has long i am in sunny icmeler.

Mine starts from the minute i walk out of my front door too hate the haul of travelling but the beautiful Icmeler will be there at the end of my journey cant wait three weeks today we fly not that im counting the weeks lol three weeks of lovely weather i hope lovely food and really nice friendly people bliss i cant wait.

Mine starts when we book the holiday .I know sad isnt it but i dont care booked for sep 2010 and may 2011 sep 2011 so i am on perminant holiday yppppppe

For me it's when I've finished my last day at work. No matter what the weather is doing as I leave the office I can already feel the icmeler sunshine beating down on my face! My brother once told me that for him his holiday starts when he's on the plane and he hears "Would you like a drink, sir?" so I always think of him when the drinks trolley reaches me on the flight!

My Sept hols are on Monday 6th, but in my head start on Friday 27th August.

travel down to London that day for the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final - traditional weekend with the "lads"

Back Monday, work Tuedsday to Friday but wind down, Sat /Sun finish packing, dog to kennels.

Then on our way Monday morning for two and a bit fabulous weeks. Yippeee

mine starts the day i finish work which is today yipee just got to get packed house clean icmeler here we come sat carnt wait its been a long time coming not been since may 09

Mine will start this saturday as soon as i get in the van and drive away looking at the scaffolding thinking ...i have not got to climb up one of those for 2 weeks...

Mon 9th for us. thank god , its been a long wait but worth it

Mine starts when I put the alarm on and lock the front door.

hi pete snap we will be at wembly also only there the one night as we fly from humberside mon 30th for 2 weeks maybe see you there only thing is we're red + white and i know you're unfortunately black +white

next friday (the DREADED 13th) but as long as there`s no gremlin on the wing I dson`t care by 6.30 PM I hope to be having the first of many efes

Started now for me..........sheff utd on sky then packing for the morning .......

Mine starts as soon as I leave work on 8th September. Drive home, grab my stuff (including husband) drive to Manchester, stay at airport overnight and fly 9.30 next morning!!
Can't come soon enough
