Hi Steve - Google The Laurels Manchester Airport and see what you think or click the link below. Extremely well priced and secure but very slightly off airport.

You wont believe how cheap it is considernig its close proximity to the airport.. Failing that you can try the below. Living locally i have info on most of them and do know the better ones.

Hi Steve, we are going to use Purple parking this year, think it was about 40something pound for 3 weeks.

We normally fly from Birmingham so dont know what this one is like but it sounds secure

We have been using Purple Parking, as it is called these days, 2 or 3 times a year for the past five years. Cant fault them for the service they provide to and from the airport. It will help you coming from Gloucester on the M5 then M6 and then take the A556 from junction 19. This road will then take you straight into the middle of Altrincham where the car park is situated. We use them in May and October and usually look to pay £50 for three weeks. They drop you at any of the terminals and pick you up outside when you come back. All you have to do is give them a ring on a free phone number when you come through customs. We have never waited more than five minutes.

Don't think you can go wrong if you use any of the official Manchester Airport parks. Depends what you want to spend. We used The Shuttle Park in June and I think it was about £60 for 15 days Very efficient, all automated. Didn't see a soul until the bus arrived within the 15 minutes scheduled time. Same on the return. 10 mins wait at term1 and straight back to the carpark. Journey time about 15mins

Stay clear of Securapark ! we booked them back in January, paid £54 for 2 weeks carpark.Arrived on 4th June at 7am and there was a queue of cars waiting to Park, after about half hour waiting we were all told they was full !!and advised to o and park at long stay carpark at the airport,we only just managed to find a space and was nearly late checking in,also at an extra cost of £116 :x total spent out £170 !!!we have just had an email from them after waiting 2 weeks for them to reply and all they have offered us is our £54 back and 1 weeks free carparking next year, with a comment saying it was not their fault

I have noticed a few of you use purpleparking. I have a code to save up to 15% off (I think thats what it is anyway). When booking your carparking via the purpleparking website just enter BCLR2 into the source code. I ran a quick dummy booking and came up with the following:

12/07/10 - 26/07/10 Manchester. The cheapest without the code is £48.99 (Park & Ride)
12/07/10 - 26/07/10 Manchester. With the code I can get £44.09 (Park & Ride).

Its a code that is available to all Barclays Premier customers but there are no checks on that website to prove you are a Barclays customer. I have given that code to work collegues and they have had the saving with no problems (none of them were Barclays customers).

Have fun with the code :D
