Wheelchair users?

Unfortunately since I was last in Icmeler 2 years ago, i have had a spinal surgery op that had complications and i am now having to use a wheelchair. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice about what is helpful and what to avoid. For example I know I wont be able to jump in a dolmus to marmaris now, but hubby says he will enjoy the walk, but is it even possible to walk straight along the front? Will i still be able to go on the boat trips??
Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

We did the beachfront walk along to Marmaris last month, and saw a couple of folk with wheelchairs too.

My sons in a wheelchair and we have actually managed to get him on the dolmus, obviously not when its busy but the drivers are very helpful when its quiet, the walk along the front is quite easy going too, not too many bumps.

We go on boat trips, need abit of help but everyone is more than willing to help with anything I need, infact we havent come across a trip yet that we haven't been able to do, theres limitations with certain things like on Jeep safari we don't get up to the waterfalls (although the drivers always offer to carry him up for me) but we manage most things.

One tip for you though, I don't know if you have a manual wheelchair but if you do and your husband is likely to be pushing at all get something wrapped around the handles (I use wristbands) as after a few days of pushing with hot, sweaty hands they end up red raw and very sore. Hope this helps.
