Dalaman airport

Surprise coming back through Dalaman airport .At the end of check in line cafe we bought two teas with two large slices of marble cake for 10.ooo .Had to sit down and enjoy .We entered flight area cafe in there selling same .As the protest worked about ripof Dalaman .We also had no trouble taking water in and on to the plane

thats odd as we went through passport control we had to take our water out and put it in the black bins provided :(

Same - there were people in our check-in queue feeling quite smug because they still had bottles of water or juice in their carry-on luggage, but they were all made to take it out and bin it before going through the next security check.

its ok taking water through the first security check point but when you get to the one before passport control they take all liquids off you over 100mls like in the UK
its ok to take water and juice on the plane if you have bought them in the airport after this security check point
so thats how those people got that on the plane

We had to throw our two bottles in the bin........the spent 5TL on another small bottle in the airport :x

It won't bother us as we don't intend going airside until an hour before our flight.

I have just read the following thread on Trip Advisor, and someone here (last message) says they actually took 100ml bottles of water through at Bodrum Airport.
