P20 Suncream

Postby dj_sploits » 26 May 2010 11:17

Good afternoon,

With there only being 47 days until I arrive in the beautiful Içmeler I am looking at suncreams. I usually use Piz Buin Allergy but for some reason never come back home with much of a tan. Plus its a pain putting it on repeatedly through the day (I want to be relaxing and drinking Efes instead of smearing cream all over my body lol). So this year I have decided to give P20 a whirl. It seems to be OK for people with Prickly Heat and you only have to apply it once a day.

So the question is mainly for P20 users. How much will I need for a week in Içmeler? I don't want to end up not having enough so I'm not sure whether I should be getting 100ml or 200ml (hopefully no more than that because it aint all that cheap lol).

So anybody with any advice please.

Thank you kindly :D

hi karl,

i always use this,i take 2 big bottles for 2 weeks but usually come back with a little bit but i would rather take too much than run out.
It's brilliant stuff,i've never burnt and always come back with a tan,not much of one but that is down to my skin tone and not the P20, i will say though make sure you put it on everywhere correctly as someone i was on holiday with had missed a few parts and ended up with burnt streaks on them and even a burnt hand shaped print on them!!

hope this helps!

I wish I was going 2 weeks on friday. I'm not away until the 12th July. But at least its something to look forward to (even if it does seem ages away).

I will check out Asda. Online I found Chemist Direct were OK priced but haven't checked Asda yet. Thanks for the info and enjoy your holiday 8)

I use this for my 2 children at school as i am not there to re-apply (health and safety says they cannot take sun cream in ) and can honestly say we have had no problems and they are 5 and 8 years old, eldest is red head burns easily and youngest just has to look at the sun and he has a tan , it is strange as it is not a cream but a bit like a liquid clear too but good :) :)

Thank you all for your input.

I will have a scout around the net and see what price I can get a 200ml bottle for. I'm sure that will last me a week.

Thank you all again

I used it last year, but I didnt like it, I found it stained quite bad and left orangy stains on clothes, sheets etc wherever you sat down.

We have been using P20 for the past couple of years and swear by it i am very fair with sensative skin and have never had any problems i also take a small sun lotion for when we are on boat trips just as a precaution as you are in and out of the sea and the sun seems stronger you should only need one bottle we use just over one large bottle for the both of us for 2wks hope this helps :D Jan

Try (CALYPSO ONCE A DAY) from Matalan £6 for 200m you still get a tan,it is waterproof, and will last you all day and you will not get burnt. One bottle should be enough but take two just in case.Happy Hols. :D 8)

My hubby uses this in Turkey and a 200ml lasts him the 2 weeks. It works well but it does stain your clothes etc very badly. Have you tried Piz Buin all day? I use this and have never burnt and I never used to tan but I get a nice colour with this. :D
