Crocs flipflops

Postby Not the weakest link » 22 May 2010 07:43

Hi has anyone bought or worn these the toe post type not the caymans that cover whole foot.

I was wondering whether they are quite wide fitting and how supportive are they on the old tootsies. Reason being having broken my 5th metartarsal a month ago and my foots still swollen, (no special boots for me like footballers get) I need some flipflops for now and for hols in July, preferably ones i wont slip in on the marble around pools etc.

the toe post ones actually look nice and not like Crocs at all. We do have a Croc shop in Manchester but as I'm still not upto walking round shops for hours on end thought I'd gather opinion first.

Hi weakest link,

I have wide hobbity feet with a high instep & find the Athens range perfect for me & have worn them the last 3 years to Turkey. I have trouble walking at times & often get pain in my feet & find these help so much better than regular flipflops (guess because they are not as flat)

Due to the material they are made of, they stretch pretty easily, the lass in the shop told me to heat the straps up with my hairdryer & stretch it between my fingers if they were too narrow.

Hope this helps!

My feet are quite wide, too and I have just bought "patricia" crocs, they are not toe post flip flops, they have a slightly higher wedge heel and I have found that you can stretch them a bit,I 've also got some "mary janes",they are both so light to wear that you can almost forget you have any shoes on.T.
