I always withdraw from the hsbc in the square. you can chose between euro, lira or english. Just a word of warning!! always have a days money left before you try and withdraw as twice i have gone and there was no money left but this was refilled the next day. I am aware you can use other banks but as i am a creature of habit i always stick to the same one lol.
Hope this helps x

julie,
I think you may be getting confused with the fact that they only take £10 notes for your visa at Dalaman Airport.

Any denomination of Pound notes will be accept for exchange in Icmeler.....

There are only a few places that will change Scottish money and you get a lower rate than English notes, safer to take English

as dotty says
most places wont accept scottish notes
and if they do they will give you a considerably lower rate
to be on the safe side just take english notes
and you will be sure to get them changed
xxxx
