Got weighed on the scales at the chemist and am not as heavy as I thought, thank God!!
I am definitley starting my sensible eating plan tomorrow now everything is back to normal after Christmas.
Gene, could you re- include me in your next graph please?

skilly the next weigh-in is on 14th January,if you have no way of knowing if you have gained or loss we will put you down as maintain.

Hi all
Wel done to everyone who's losing the weight or is even trying!
I joined slimming world last year and managed to get to my goal weight without denying myself too many things, I found it the easiest plan to stick with, it gave you much more flexibility than the other ones. Although I haven't been to a class lately I'm back on the plan but was wondering if anyone can explain the new extra-easy plan and how it differs to the red and green days.

hi all,
happy new year to everyone. hope we are all focused and ready to loose those extra pounds?
i started back scottish slimmers after the christmas break and somehow managed to loose a pound. :o so that has given me a boost to keep going.will let you know how i do this week :wink:

I help out doing the weighing at my local slimming world and you'll all be pleased to know that EVERYONE in our group put on over christmas.
Just thought it might make people a little less worried about the excess christmas weight to shift.

The new slimming world plan allows you to mix both green and red days, but you reduce your a & b healthy extra choices. I don't really see how it can be so effective, but there's a few people in our group trying it this week, so we will see.

I am delighted to say I lost a whopping 8lbs this week, there-fore my December (totally all of December) binge has now disappeared.

Well done Mary on a great start to the New Year keep up the great work and good luck to everyone else trying to shift those extra lbs. On nights at the minute finish on Thursday morning so saving my weigh in till then.To be honest I am dreading it must try Niamh's Wii Fit or a bit of dancing around doing the house work to my fav. Turkey CD (good practise for June).

After much effort I have managed to maintain this week.

I have always been our Anns Hero but now I have become some form of martyr.
We have two tins of chocolates left after Christmas,a tin of Quality Street and a tin of Celebrations.
I sacrificed all chance of loseing any weight this week by telling our Ann that I would eat these nasty chocolates myselfe this way she should have a good chance of loseing a little more weight.
I am not seeking any glory just trying to do what we would all do and that is help others in a greater need.

Good luck all with your weigh -ins this week and congratulations to Mary and Wendy on your fantastic losses this week.
But even a small loss is an effort that we all seek to acheive.

Gene, what can I say, you are such a hero, I hope Ann realises what a catch she had the day she married you. I know Phill would never ever eat all the chocs to save me gaining weight........because he knows I will get lighter than him and book the holiday........ :lol:
