I bank with the RBS so phoned them and can get a years cover for £110 , just going to go with them if I can find a holiday.

Just took this out today, good thing is it also covers me for the holiday I've booked for next year.

Essential Travel wanted £200 for one week, so still looking. They quoted £ 20 and then added 180 for Med Condition. Silly money, so I am still looking.

Just a query folks please what is the actual definition of 'existing medila condition'?? As the disc has now been removed from my back, have permission to fly from my consultant (who i want to marry ha ha) would i still be classed as having a pre - existing even though it has been removed??

Hi Davie thanks for that but it's just a wee bit general though (as usual with insurance details) Bet ya bottom dollar i would not be covered had i not taken out extra insurance

you probably wouldn't be covered Jozzyd, I think if you've any type of of illness requiring surgery, I would imagine you would have to declare it, because if anything at all went wrong with you when over there they would say it was linked and not pay out.

Cheers again Davie, am definitely covered AND fighting fit and recovered, i can walk again without pain, i can do normal household chores etc so it's worth every penny hope your recovery goes well too x

I'll not be far behind you , I fly out for 2 weeks on the 8th August, I can walk a lot further than I used to be able to without stopping, but just to be on the safe side I'm going to rent a pair of crutches from Marmaris, cause you never know after i've had a few Efes
