Seems very drastic surely you would put a lot of the weight back on when you would start to eat normally again. No matter how healthy you would eat.
Don't think it will be one for me.

I was speaking to one of the girls last week, and you slowly introduce yourself to solid food, I dont know the exact details, but I think its one small meal a day, plus 2 shakes for a few days, then on to somethign else, but once I get all the details I will post.

Not saying I would do it, but I would like to have all the information and then decide whether to give it a go for a month for a kick start.

i dont think the shakes are a good idea, i think you would gain after, even with starting a new diet plan or would slow down you progress
i think in winter you really need to eat
i know of a diet plan which you lose 4/6 lbs a week and just diet for 3 days out of a week it bland and boaring but it works
it gos under many names
try this in google British Heart Foundation Diet / greenlane diet

Hi Feefee, I have actually been in touch with my friend and looked at the website, its called 'lipotrim', its accessible via the Pharmacy or your GP, but I dont think its for me. I had a look at the Greenlane diet too, and again, I think its not for me.
I think I will just stick to the slimming world diet and try to up my exericse. At least on these WW and SW diets you are eating good healthy nutritious meals, and they DO work when we stick to them. Thanks for the info on the greenlane diet.

Jivebunnie, well done on your loss, every little helps.

Even though I lost this week, I'm finding it a real chore!! With so many meals out and Christmas parties, I'm thinking of abandoning it until the new year.

That suits me fine Gene, cos just weighed myself and have put on a pound. So after New Year I'll be able to report weight gain of at least 8lbs, and like you I'll know I've had a good time.
