Well done, Beth, Red wine and Dotty, and Gene, everybody's doing really well, Ive lost a pound this week, happy to be back on the straight and narrow after staying same last week.
Jive bunnie, I found that staying the same kicked me into gear again. You'll be fine next week.
I've been using chocolate options drinks as comfort for the miserable cold nights too :D

Donna!! Im drooling at the thought of all those lovely proper English favourites you've been catching up on since you came home, I'd do exactly the same  I might save a few syns for extra roasties this weekend instead of vodka! Tough call, but I'll give it a go!

Hey Jozzyd I really admire you for keeping the weight off for so long because that's the hardest part, well done. I like hearing success stories like yours, it helps me to stick with it.

Good luck everybody, the charts looking good :D

I have made a huge saucepan of vegetable soup today and froze about 6 portions of this, its really handy to take to work and warm and filling on these cold nights.

Being good tonight and drinking diet coke instead of vodka, maybe I will have a 4 days off work with NO alcohol.......

That's the difference folks, not interested in food, 1 sandwich will do for me all day, not healthy i know, but i prefer a beer to food. And i smoke which is a major appetite suppressant. Not that I am suggesting anyone smoke, i would rather be bigger and not smoke  Well done to you all

Phill has been feeding me up, so I will probably gain next week.

Thanks Dotty, I am back to work tonight, on the mend again.

Dotty, I dont remember you having lots to lose anyway, so it will probably be a little more difficult for you to lose weight, as those last few pounds are the hardest ones. Not that I have EVER been in that position

Thanks Trish. I dont expect to lose this week, after Phill feeding me up, but I am like you, will plod along in December now until the festivities are finished and then get back right on track from January.

Glad your feeling much better Mary, nothing worse than a bad back so you deserve a bit of pampering and looking after.
Haven't weight myself yet as on nights since last night until Friday night will do it when I get up on Saturday lunch time.
Well done everyone for all the great results and like everyone else don't expect to lose much over the next few weeks.
But at least we have given ourselves a kick start and now know we can do it.

A couple of the girls in work with me have gone onto this plan they get from the Pharmacy. They are weighed every week at the Chemist and health checks done. It costs them about £35 a week for the shakes they have to drink and that is all they have with the exception of water. They are having fantastic losses, but to be honest, even though I am tempted to do that for a month, I dont know if I could live with 3 shakes and loads of water every day. Sounds a lot of money, but when you think you have nothing else to buy, its cheaper than shopping at Tesco

Will debate on it over December and see what everyone here thinks to it. I must try and get some more information from them.
