Last year our toiletries alone weighed almost 2.5-3kg, so this year we will wait until we arrive in Icmeler and then go and buy from the Tansas. We also bought new wheeled holdals this year which weigh less than our old suitcases did and some of those bags that you take the air out of with your vac. We packed all our holiday stuff in them, took all the air out, put them in the holdals, weighed them and hey presto...it appears to have made each bag much lighter. Coming back, if we can't catch the cleaner to borrow her vac, we will go and see our Turkish friend over the road to our hotel and use his...sorted! :D

Purchase your toiletries from Boots inside the departure lounge at the Airport at no extra cost to what you pay on the High St.

i don't think I did pay extra John, but not too sure.
It doesn't say on the booking that I paid for 20kg but it says so on the tickets :?

If it's on your ticket skilly thats the main thing to go by so use it up and have yourself a great holiday.
We are waiting for tickets from same company for travel on 21st Sept but only expect 15kg each thats 10 for me (if I'm lucky) and 20 for Mary.....enjoy

We are flying with onurair next year and only getting 15kgs luggage which i will struggle with as our suitcases weigh 5kgs empty. I am looking to buy lightweight cases for 2010 but after searching the internet am having difficulty finding anything less than 4.5kgs. Any suggestions of where to get would be appreciated. :?

Have you thought about one of the wheeled holdalls rather than a case? I'm pretty sure Argos do one which weighs as little as 1.5kg.

I've got one of those holdalls, they're great, it only weights just over 1kg and you can get so much stuff in it. It was only £10 out of Argos. They're supposedly waterproof but I wasn't so sure, I packed clothes (by category ie. daytime tops, nighttime tops etc) in carrier bags then put in holdall, great when we got to our hotel just had to lift each carrier bag out and place the contents in drawers or wardrobe.

Yeah we've got those holdalls but one of the daughters will be 16 next year and thinks nothing of taking the wardrobe with her!!!

We got these this year as we only had the 15kgs in July when we went.
They are excellent and you can get loads into them well worth a tenner

Cat Nr 285/0928 is the one we bought, have used it on two holidays now and still in excellent condition. They are out of stock just now but even cheaper at £8.79 than when I bought.
