A quick question regarding hand luggage.

TC is usually 5kg hand luggage on top of your hold allowance so it wont affect your 15kg. The buggy isnt part of the allowance either.

Glen is right. You are allowed one piece of hand baggage only which must not exceed 5 kg in weight or 43 cm x 28 cm x 23 cm in size. This is on top of your 15kg hold baggage allowance

Hmmm I was told of very nice TC booking lady yesterday that We get 20kg luggage 5kh hand luggage - hope its 20 not 15 was planning on leaving little ones suitcase half empty and bringing back stuff!!!!

any flight only bookings made with them after March 09 automatically get 20kg. otherwise the standard allowance is 15kg unless you have paid for extra.

A little tip for those with buggies is buy a buggy bag and put your excess luggage in it our buggy bag weighed 15kg this year they never check what's inside as different buggies weigh different amounts but shhh don't tell anyone!!!!

im also going with tat company so is it 20kg case and 5kg hand its not very clear

feefee it depends on your booking. you will definitely have 5kg land lugggage.

if you booked flight only after March this year you should have 20kg hold luggage allowance. if you have booked a package holiday or made your flight only booking pre March you will probably have the standard 15kg unless you have paid extra for the extra 5kg.

on your confirmation it should tell you if you have 15kg or 20kg and it will def tell you on your tickets when they come.

Be careful not to go over the 15K! I've just got back from Magaluf and flew with TC - stupidly I didn't check luggage allowance and presumed it was 20KG like most company's are these days. When she weighed it and it came out at 19.5kg I was all pleased with myself and then he asked for £45!! Obviously this is my fault for not checking so couldn't argue but just warning you because £10 per kilo is rather steep!!!

Needless to say on teh way home I left all my toiletries there, carried my towel & hairdryer. I was still 1Kg over but the lovely lady let me off - that wouldn't happen at Dalaman though!!

Flying with E*** J** to Turkey in less than two weeks and they are 20kg - thank goodness! x

Remeber your handbag is counted as hand luggage now so you have to put it inside the bag you are taking on the flight until you've checked in then take it out again! Only problem is that takes up a bit of your 5kg allownace.

I understand they regulate strictly so that you dont take too much stuff with you, cos you could I dont know tip the plane over on the runway maybe !!! but limiting you to just 5kg handluggage ....

obviously the person who thought it up wasnt a women. my handbag alone could weigh that most days
