Hi guys we fly out on monday morning to stay at the Eda, IT is b&b basis so we dont get a fridge... i havent thought properly about this but that means no cold water in the middle of the night or morning (hungover

) and nowhere to put icecubes (we take icecube bags) or coke or vodka from airport.
Is there any way around this ... ways to keep things cold as i cant take the fridge/freezer with me i wish i could

The only thing which springs to mind is to take a cool bag with you, then buy the bottles of frozen water in the supermarkets. Not much, but maybe better than nothing?

frozen water sounds like the way forward

and if you buy big bags of ice, perhaps the bar lads would let you leave them in the ice cream fridge??

YEs mum said that aswel about the bags of ice if i can ask the lads in the bar to put it behind the bar in their freezer then nip over to the shop get a bottle of cold coke and get the ice before i go out at night and have a drink or 2 in the apartment before we go out.

Our apartments used to freeze the beer glasses that contain a wall of water in the ice cream display cabinet but were told by the ice cream suppliers that they couldn't do that as the cabinet didn't belong to the apartments but to the suppliers, hopefully they will do it for you though,
We always have a drink while getting ready in the evening but we ask the bar staff for a glass full of ice for the apartment, they never say no but that may be because we buy a lot of drinks at the bar during the day and when we return from town in the evening.

We have a Thermos Geo Trek Bottle Cooler which we take to the beach every day and purchase a bottle of frozen water. This keeps cold all day and we have to even take it out of the bag to de-ice it! The bags are available via Amazon @ £2.99. Hope this helps.

I have a very small mini fridge at home which I have on in my bedroom when its hot, it is compact and doesnt weigh that much and although it wont keep things frozen it will keep a few cans etc cool. Asuming you are not taking lots clothes and shoes etc like I normally do and you will have room you could consider taking one. They have come right down in price now and the sales are on.

The apartments we stay in (none ICR) have informed us this year that due to the number of people bringing fans in from outside they will now charge for the electricity they use which happens to be the same price as renting a fan from them. I can understand the extra electricity issue due to the price increases but thought it was a bit steep charging the same, however the aircon is included but it's only installed in the bedroom.
So my point is others may follow suit when seeing people bringing in rented electrical devices, may be worth considering before offering the service.

Dave are they a bit miffed that they havent thought of more ways to get money out of us.
Thinks to myself "God help us with our 4 way ganger which will have Iphone, netbook and Nintedo charging up at some stage. Oh and my lightweight travel fan."
What i'd do is hide the evidence before the cleaners come in and dob you in it. Or carry in a load of beach towels with fan hidden
And it wouldnt use much more either because of the metal fob thingy is out of the wall more than its in. I'm off on a rant now.
AM thinking there must be a dragons den thing there like a fold up into a box shape insulated fabric mini fridge. Like for camping.
