Jack Daniels at duty free?

Hi my friend has asked me to take him some jack daniels from duty which i dont mind as he always pays me back straight away when i bring him things over for the bar, but has anybody got an idea how much 2 bottles of Jack Daniels will be at duty free?

try having a look at the website of your departure airport - they may well have prices or even better, offers that are on in duty free

I paid just over £18 last year from Cardiff Airport, but I have no idea what they are this year.

from memory at Manchester it was £21 last year because we got asked to buy one for someone in Marmaris.
When i bought one at xmas from Tesco it was £18, think the tesco one was slightly smaller.
They dont seem to discount JD the same at the airport.

I paid £38 for 2 bottles of "Jack" in Cardiff but i had to drink half a bottle to forget about spending the £38.
PS I paid more that that when i went to Lynchburg Tennessee where they make the blooming stuff.

sometimes you get a deal if you buy 2 bottles
eg 2 for £15 or 2 for £22 obviously depending on what you buy
but i think last year each bottle was £19 if i remember correctly

Im gonna say average 40 pounds for 2 LTR bottles and just give him the change if any.

Someone told me earlier that your only allowed 2ltrs per person to take into Turkey but i think this is wrong?? i heard you can take 5 bottles? hopefully because i want to take some for myself haha

I also take bottles over for a bar which I know they sell for a 100-150% profit on each bottle, however as I get a couple of free rounds for the family for the hassle of taking it I don't mind. I typicall take 5 Litres for them plus one for my wife so she can have a drink in the apartment.

I hope i can take more i dont mind takin some for joe and the bar but if it means i can't take any for myself then he will only be getting one bottle

also.. if i end up in trouble for taking more than im allowed you will be paying the bail money haha x

I have only just found out that there is a limit per person. I took loads in october and the woman at duty free told me there was no limit on taking into turkey because it's not in the EU therefore doesn't go by EU regulations. So i took 4 jack daniels silver from airport here then bought 4 bottles of raki in dalaman haha

You go before me Cassia so do let me know if you get arrested then I will think twice about what to take
