electrical adapter

I don't what kind of electric sockets they have in Turkey. Are the the usual European type? Will the normal adapter for Spain, Portugal etc. be OK?

Yes, just the usual 2 pin European adaptor is used in Turkey.

Yes. I also find that if you bring a uk extension lead then you can plug that into your adaptor and get more sockets. USeful if you have phones that need charging, hairdryers, straightners, cameras, laptops, dvds etc etc !

That's a brilliant because there never seem to be enough for sockets, especially with phones, ipods, hair dryers, etc.

think im going to do that this year
cause you know girls need lots of sockets for straighteners and all that kind of thing :D

I've done it now for a few years and it really dose make life easier in an apartment that you might only have one socket in it

when packing which electrical items can we put in hand luggage and which electrical items should go in the hold. we will be taking the usual appliances....hair dryer,straightners,radio,ipod,gameboy & mobile phones the last 3 needing chargers.
