our first time
Posted: 19 Aug 2009 08:44Flights left Birmingham on time on a very wet saturday afternoon,what a great time to be flying out of here.
An absolute pain on landing as the crew had to collect the health forms which we struggled to make out as the standard of copies were terrible but once completed the staff were able to get us all off the plane (thank goodness).
Transfers weren't as bad as i thought,couldn't see much as it was around 11 at night but was lovely to feel warm air against our normally wet skin,they didn't stop enroute but it still took best part of 2 hrs to get to our apartments.
On arrival we were made to feel really welcome,our room was spacious and clean and had air con so we were happy.
We dropped the cases freshened up and went to the bar for an Efes and a snack,all good.
We did the jeep safari and the Dalyan checkout,loved the jeep safari but the Dalyan checkout (one trip booked through Th***** rep) was expensive for what it was,ok but nowhere near as good as the jeep safari.
We found plenty of great eating places and i must say we didn't have one bad meal the whole holiday.
Weather and the locals were fabulous,i can't imagine ever wanting to go anywhere other fromIcmeler from now on.
Dalaman airport prices left a lot to be desired,the only negative of the holiday as far as i'm concerned.
