Posted: 21 Jul 2009 18:09Been home almost 3 weeks after yet another wonderful 2 week holiday in Icmeler. Flight and transfers perfect to arrive at the Elif hotel at 6.30am to a beautiful sunrise .... Bliss i was back home 
Really great to see Sharon, Donna , Rami and John when i popped to ICR office..
The weather was amazing everyday, my early morning walks to the Cafe de la mar set me up for the day before spending our days on the beach amongst friends.
Treated ourselves to a Turkish bath and a massage for me, was really lovely truly pampered.
Our first visit to watch the Stella show....Hilarious to say the least!!! well worth going to see, will return with Ann in September. Took a boat trip with Captain Bullshit good fun as usual, and was a welcome stop to the bays to cool down with a swim.
Some of the restaurants we visited were Blue Rainbow, Cupids, Romance, Yakamoz,Bonjour, Dreamboys, Venice, De je Vous, and others too many to mention but all gorgeous food and excellent staff. Prices still reasonable. Spent a lot of time in Elvis Bar fab music and staff, met some lovely English people along the way during our holiday who im now in contact with. Ilyas and staff at the Blue Rainbow made us very welcome day or evening.
Elif restaurant new staff again was a little dissapointed to be ignored by a majority of the staff when we had decided not to eat or drink when continually asked if we were eating there and why not? So sadly we never did eat there as we would have felt uncomfortable, we wernt the only ones treated this way. Hope its better when we return in September. The Elif hotel very friendly as usual as it was my 7th stay there we are already booked to stay there September. wonderful views over the beach ...role on the 14th. It is going to be refurbished to a 4star in October which will be lovely to see.
But home now and back to reality missing Icmeler loads, really looking forward to going back in September for another 2 weeks.... Yayyyyyyyy!!!
