hi we arrived home on the 15th of may.we spent a week at the elif hotel and our room had wonderful seaviews across the bays.the hotel had a 1st class location,rooms were basic but maid cleaned and changed bed and towels everyday.mehmet and tony cappuccino were great fun,first few days was a bit strange the way they served breakfast but it got better as the week went on.we had a week of fantastic weather and the pool was welcoming although freezing.we had the pleasure of meeting configure 34(gaz and wife nic). we ate at majestic,venice,asymnia and the champion bar and could not fault the food-prices varied from 3-4 lira for a efes and martinis from 7-10lira sure cheaper could be found but we were happy with the bars and the entertainment especially at the majestic.best place we found for changing money was the supermarket below icr at 2.30.we went on the walk from icmeler to marmaris and got as far as the icerink at the marmaris palace due to the extreme heat 32C so decided to have a few beers instead at the cafe del mar.had no trouble at the airport taking in water and food-same procedure as last year-we had no problems with luggage weight although heard they are strict on overweight.it was early season and most places were open,but did not look like the amalia,chill bar,avlu3 were opening at all but maybe mistaken.roll on september when we return to our beloved icmeler
