Had a good flight with ona air we were delayed on the run way for 1 hour but we still made it to icmeler in 3 hours 45 minutes.

It felt we had arrived home when we got to the tolan.

Went to ICR to meet everyone, thanks to the baggage handlers our suitcase got ripped but it came in handy for craig to take the orphanage goodies to them. Everyone friendly at ICR spotted Craig round a few bars I think he was trying them out to make sure there where suitable. Its was nice to meet every one.

Went to Friends to meet Red Rhino found out the next day that his daughter was working at Koren so we presume he went there instead. Bamboo looks like it is reopening soon but the Taj mahal is not this year.

Went to Pamukale, Icmeler Market, Marmaris Castle, the water park, boat trip, we also did the marmaris walk twice which took just over an hour, we spotted dolphins in an enclosure on the way maybe they are going to have a dolphin park soon.

Tried new restaurants this time, the real Turkish ones in the village I will have to think what they are all called, lived off Durum, Pede, Ayran and tahin Pede for 2 weeks. Went to see Omar and Memhet at the Holiday a few times they are doing well and the pancake man still lives on. We boycotted the Lemon tree this year as it was very loud as it had been taken over by Alvara and it was constant boom boom all night. Sylvia has opened a new restaurant in the old village opposite the garden centre

The weather got hotter and hotter each day reaching 48 degrees so the 2nd week we sat by the pool, could not sun bathe for more than 10 minutes each time before we dived in the pool for relief as it was so hot.

When we got to Dalaman all the checkins were saying 2 hours before opening so it was not worth paying 37 lira to go in the new lounge, also there was no smoking area except for in there and I refused to pay 11 lira just to have a smoke.

Plenty more to tell you and loads of photos but I am still trying to catch up on my sleep

Mark had to visit the dentist also as he lost a filling, with a days notice mutsapha booked him in and whilst he was having his teeth drilled I was enjoying my breakfast in the waiting room with his wife, only 100 lira for a filling

As much as I am missing Icmeler don't think I could've coped with 48 degrees was bad enough at 35! Although I guess I could've just sat and people watched in the bars ;)

Sounds like you had a great time as always, great review and look forward to the pics :)

Great review Sue. Shame about your suitcase!

Great review Sue :D .Walk to Marmaris is definetly on ur to do list this year.Think we will save it till September when it will just be Hubby and I rather than July when we will have Niamh with us.Should also be cooler then.
Sounds like you had a great time and wasn't it hot.
