Just returned from wonderful 2 week break after 6 years away.

So much has changed since we were last there - so many place no longer there but a lot of friendly familiar faces still there.

Going out our flight from Manchester was delayed by 1 hour therefore the express transfer we had booked was not there when we landed. We were directed to another minibus and left waiting for 1 hour 45 mins! :x Not happy as you can imagine.

Finally arrived at Kapmar at around 1.30am. Dropped cases and went for a little walk around. Kardelen seemed to be the closest place open for food at that time.

Rate in resort was between 7.20 - 7.35 to the £. Food was delicious wherever we went. Some of the places we tried - Lighthouse, IDA, Titanic, Cupids, Masala, Taj Mahal, Broadway, Yolo, Café Annes, Kardelen, Champagne - not a bad meal anywhere.

Went on a lazy day boat trip which was well worth the £10 we paid.

Had a street facing room on the first floor at Kapmar which had recently been refurbished. Very and comfortable. Room cleaned daily and towels also changed daily.

Oh by the way Broadway had the best full English at £1.00!

Also forgot to mention - we went to Datca for the day - a beautiful place. There is a small market on a Saturday - mainly aimed for local people though.

Before long it was time to come home. Did plenty of shopping as you would with two daughters!

Transfer on the way back was fab. Film on, iced tea, cold water and cakes.

Swiftly got through checkout although they were very strict and I ended up paying £12 for being 1kg over!
