Faber Apartments Icmeler

Flew out to Icmeler Friday 14th September with Monarch but booked with Travel Republic, flight was very rocky and had to spend most of the time with the Seetbelts on, arrived at Dalaman at 23.30 and had to wait 1 hour for transport, when they finally turned up they dumped all the suitcases on the back seats in no particular order and everybody then had to find there suitcases on thier arrival at thier hotels, finally on our way, stopped for 15 mins for a break and on our way again, driver then decided to stop in the middle of the road in Marmaris for 30 mins for a young lad to board the bus and direct him to all the different drop offs, arrived at the Faber apartments at 4.30 am this was longer than it took to fly, never again.
We were a party of 7 and after being shown to our rooms 5 went straight to bed, hubby and I decided to sit on the balcony and have a few vodkas and watch the sunrise (beautiful)
Was a bit concerned about the reviews of the Faber but thought they were totally unjustified, rooms were spotlessly clean, cleaner came in every day, remade the beds, emptied the bins and washed floors throughout, beds and towels changed every 3 days, realised we had no plugs for kitchen and bathroom sink , we just asked and within minutes they were knocking on our door with them, also had problems with door entry card, but received a new card immediately,
Speedy and Shy Boy, were absolutely brilliant , looked after us all so well and could not fault them in anyway, they have a message in the bar area which reads WELCOME TO YOUR NEW HOME, and this was just like home but with somebody else waiting on you, cannot be bad, ate breakfast there a few mornings was very good , had a Turkish Wedding Reception one evening , was really good and the entertainment was outstanding, also had a BBQ night and could not fault the food, we also ate in Siddicks twice , superb meal both nights, Bar One, Titanic, De Ja Vu, Champagne bar, Wayside all excellent but my favourites were definately Siddicks and Champage bar.
Well it was finally getting near to our journey home, were told we needed to contact the transfer company to find out our pick up time, tried every couple of hours for 2 days and no answer, checked website every 2 hours and this was saying not available yet, we were flying at 4.30 on the 25th and at 14.00hrs still nothing for transfer comany, so our receptionist arranged a private transfer, low and behold our origional transfer turned up at 23.00 hours and were very upset they had a wasted journey, will never transfer with them again Yessil Dalaman transfers are a complete waste of space, took 1hr 20 minutes by private transfer compared to 4hrs 30 mins (what would you choose). All in all had an amazing time and will definately book the Faber apartments for next year, hope those of you who are still waiting for your holidays all have as much fun as we did and the sun carries on shining for you all.
