Back from a weeks Holiday in Icmeler and we had a great time, Left Manchester after a hour and half delay but nobody seemed to mind I think everyone was just glad to be sat on the plane and waiting to go on their hols. Met Norm and Bev lovely couple who was great company all of the way, this pleased my other half because he was left alone to nod off. Made 20mins up in air straight through Passport/Visa and bags came through pretty quick, outside to Transfer and off to Icmeler. Landed at Hotel threw cases in room and out for something to eat we went to Tandoori Sizzler quieter than last year but was great to see Levent Haken and the staff, the meal was great and the service and friendliness of them all was brill. a bit dearer than last year but Hey they have bills to pay and families to look after like the rest of us,looking forward to going back there later in the year. We went on the beach everyday just outside Coco Beach the sunbeds are free but you are expected to buy drinks and have a meal or a sandwich which we did, Messi looked after us again made sure everything was good and no one was pestering you,we found the average Effes cost between 5 and 7 lira in Icmeler. there is apart of the beach further up towards the Dolmus end which is classed as a family beach with no beds and you can use this for free but just towels allowed at the time. We went to Tommys in the old village for the Quiz and Karaoke on Wed. the food was spot on the entertainment great. we had a few meals at night in Coco Beach it was always very busy but the service was second to none and the food was always excellent cant wait to go back. If we wanted a quite night with no entertainment we went in Kactus Bar were Oscar and Chem make you feel very welcome and they have all the football on. The Temp started to rise on the last couple of days of our week to 48-49 degrees this was hot hot hot but swimming in the wonderful cool sea cooled us down. We had a fab. holiday the only downside was when we saw the Monkey tied up in the blistering heat and looking very distressed this was on the street behind the Aqua Hotel across from a Pide Cafe, after seeing it I refused to go down that part again. The week flew by and before we knew it we were flying out from Dalaman to come home, on the good side we are going back in Aug. for two wonderful weeks. Cant wait. Happy Holidays everyone
