just returned from another fantastic holiday in icmeler and here is are review

flight was 30mins early and then a very quick exit through the airport (25mins which included visa and passport control and baggage reclaim just wish english airports were this quick) we were on our way. our transfer was quick 1hr 20 mins which included a ten minute stop as the driver was stopped for speeding :? we were in our apartments.

we stayed at the kleopatra apartments which are close to the market, they are very nice apartments quite big rooms and very friendly staff who will try there best to make your holiday fantastic. only half the rooms were being used so it was very quiet round the pool during the day.

places we ate[u]

De ja vu : very nice but very quiet i think it was because of the start of the season

Majestic : nice meal but had to wait an hour and a half for it not good as it wasnt nearly half full, every time we mentioned this to the waiter he said the food was coming, we usually like to eat here a couple of times in our hoiliday but that experience put us off, hope they sort it out for the peak season.

Tandori Sizzler: fantastic food as usual we had the meal for one and though it might seem expensive at £15 per person there was so much food it was unbeleiveable, 7 meze dishes to start followed by a main course then fried ice cream and coffee to finish. the chines meal for one consisited of wonton spring roll seseme toast and salad to start then main course with rice and noodles then banana in syrup and coffee to finish . so if you have a big appetite go for this

Alins: very cheap for any chicken meals and very friendly staff

Harry Rams: Best fish and chips in icmeler and with typhoon as your host you could n't wish for more

We ate at a feew more places never had a bad meal other than the long wait at majestic

[u]excursions

we did the akyaka trip with icr which john came on with us a really enjoyable day with some fantastic stop offs and the trip up the river is something else. if you only do one trip while you are in icmeler this is the one to do

also did the stella show with icr great value for money and worth booking at the office as they are cheaper then booking it directly with the harmony bar

other things
spent a few nights in the havanna with zaza he has a really nice bar now still the same great laughs but the only conern is that he has the three bells and istanbul just across the road and some nights you could hear three types of music all competeing for your ears Zaza did say he was trying to sort it out whether he can or not i dont know

the underground market is back and the prices are very competitive we prefer to shop there rather than the wednesday market as if there is anything wrong you can take it back to them

there seemed to be quite a few bars, resurants and shops not open as we walked round and also looking like they weren't going to open this season, one i wanted to try that wasn't open was the Lal.

before we knew it our holiday was over and we were back in the uk without any hitches
