Once again a fab time was had in the lovely Icmeler.
Flights with Easyjet went smoothly, Speedy Boarding is a must, bypassed the huge queue at check in as we had a dedicated desk, great. Exit seats on plane so nice and roomy.
Arrived in Bodrum and were met by an ICR driver, disappointed that it was a car, no water etc, although the transfer time was only 2 hours with no stops.
Stayed at the Blue Rainbow and can honestly say it is one of the best places we have stayed. Rooms cleaned every day and towels and linen changed daily too, very clean. Food was well presented, although not always to our taste but there was always something to eat. Rice/pasta, chips/wedges, chicken/koftes/burgers/casseroles, etc. Lovely salads and cakes too.
Staff were vvere very nice and helpful and we met lots of new friends at the pool.
Ate out at Cupids, once again food was great and staff excellent. Also ate at Friends and that was very good too. Visited Havana Bar to see ZaZa, a laugh as usual. Bamboo was also very good, food and entertainment great. Went to Dream 3 Bells, great fun and also Istanbul which we had never been in before but would definitely recommend.
Spent most of the days by the pool lazing about which was lovely and before we knew it it was time to come home.
Transfer was half an hour late for our pick up and the driver had brought his mate with him for the journey!! Once again it was a car, windows open all the way, no air con and no water. Maybe we were just unlucky with the transfers.
All in all we had an excellent time and would definitely go back to the Blue Rainbow and I am so glad that we ignored the reviews that we had read prior to going. Roll on 2012.
