Flew out from Glasgow with Jet 2, flights okay on time. ICR transfer waiting for us at Dalaman, no stops straight through,an hour + 20 minutes later got to hotel Club Tokmak (non icr) just got changed and unpacked the thunder and lightning appeared it didn't come to much tho' well not after a few efes had gone down.
Stayed at the hotel pool most days as it got hotter each day. Went on the icr gypsy beach trip nice turkish breakfast in the village, then relaxing day on the beach we had a good tour guide with us i never seen him catch any fish tho' (a good day out JT ) A big thanks to John, Michelle and staff at icr always there for you. Eat out in familiar places Majestic, Venice, Mandolin, etc enjoyable night in Tandoori Sizzler great meal, good service the kid's meals were on the house nice gesture. The canall's not the same with the stalls away but we knew that before we left so it wasn't so bad, it didn't seem to be doing the trade at the Majestic and Venice any harm when we were there tho'.
Visited most of our usual bars we go to had a few good nights in the Havanna with Zaza and Spider, Romeo and Juliets god to see Hassan back there this year, Friends good music and all the old haunts. Price wise was usully 5 for an efes, 7 for a local spirit ,there are cheaperplaces to drink there well advertised. We had a good view of the flag from our hotel seen a few brave souls at the top of it. The best place we used for changing money was the grocer next to the Sizzler 2.58 we were getting. We all had a great time with a little luck hope to get out later in the year. Flights back fine and on time.
