Holiday review 11th - 25th June

Got home after 2 glorious weeks in 2nd home yesterday - missing it already and looking forward to going back on 3rd Sept. Stayed at Gondol Apartments(behind Venice Restaurant) and couldnt have been looked after better!
Word of warning to anyone thinking of changing money - dont use official change shops as they now charge Tax as well as commission which means instead of advertised rate which was 2.55 when we where there you end up getting equivalent of 2.40 lira to the pound!
Had very good food whilst there - best was night out at Taj Mahal in Marmaris. Very disappointed with Tandoori Sizzler this year - no different from any other restaurant that tries to do everything - indian. chinese, english, turkish - you name it. Was much better last year when they specialised in just Indian & Chinese! Service has gone down the pan too - food whisked from under our noses without even asking if we had finished!
Moan over as we had a brilliant holiday,weather was gorgeous and as I said we cant wait to go back - just wont be frequenting certain establishments...,
