First ever forum holiday review.....hope it's ok.

Flight to Turkey was 10 mins late taking off from Cardiff, but arrived on time at Dalaman. Very quick through security and passport control and cases were with us in less than 5 mins at the carousel. Transfer (non ICR) was fine. Coach to Marmaris then transfer to a minibus and straight on to Icmeler.....Very good.
Bal apartments in the old town for the second time (Non ICR so no apartment review)
We had friends on holiday at the same time (1st week only) And booked two "lazy day" boat trips with them. The first was booked at the ICR office, all inclusive, £18.00 each and was a GREAT day out. The second booked by our friends was non ICR and nowhere near as good. (but still fun)
Our Travellers cheques were all cased at the SUPERMARKET underneath the ICR office. Top rate and no commission.
The places we ate at were as follows:-
Deja-Vu. Good food, but not as good as our previouse visit ti Icmeler
Then we tried places we've never been to before. Almost exclusively in the "Old Town" area.
Ozzy's. Great fish meals. Good service.
Wembley Bar. Good meals and good fun.
The Love Star. Very good meals and good service.
Captain Sinbads. Lovely atmosphere, good food and VERY nice people.
Apartment BBQ night was a great laugh.
Ordered a "take-away" and ate at home on one evening......very relaxing and a few efes at the pool bar afterwards.
Cubana. Ate here 4 nights. Very good food, Very good service and for every meal ordered over 20 lira we were given a token for either a FREE breakfast or lunch to be eaten between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
One night in the resort center.....at the Majestic. Super food and service and the evenings entertainment was great
Finally The LAL. My feelings about this place can be found in the "guestbook" section.
Transfers back to Dalaman on the 4th October were fine, as was the flight home. Still think Dalaman airport is an expensive "nightmare" but hey, Needs must and all that.
Home now and have booked for next year. Roughly the same time and going to the same apaprtments.
