We usually stay at the Efes Inn, but due to circumstance beyond our control, although we booked in June 2009, we could not stay there, it turned out being lucky for us because the great JT (admin) booked us into the Chateau De Ville Boutique,we thought the Efes was good but this hotel beats it hands down, the view alone is worth the price.
We arrived at 5 am on Sunday 16 May shattered, and were greeted by the night porter, a lovely young man, he had us booked in and in our room in minutes, and what a room, it was huge and had 2 balconies overlooking the beach which you could throw a stone onto, it is that close.
About 9am we had breakfast sent up to our room and eat it on the balcony, this was sheer heaven, later that day we met the manager (Jimmy) and all his staff, what a great bunch of people they are, could not do enough for us, they treated us like royalty.
Breakfast is Turkey style and very nice, we had it brought to our table each day, for 7 lira you can have a British breakfast and it is well worth the money, real sausages, toast, real bacon with tomato, bake beans, egg and mushrooms, keeps you filled all day, got an email this morning from a friend we made there saying it is now buffet style.
We had several meals there and all were excellent, well done
Aydin (chef) and served by Memet (barman) and Ali (waiter). The receptionist is lovely (good life lol). there was live music 2 nights and it was very good.
They have a part of the beach which is looked after by, my name for him is cheeky bugger, he also plays drums at night.
The rooms are all nice and fairly big, all the end ones at the front (sea and beach view) have 2 balconies and both have tables and chairs on them and are cleaned every day by 2 lovely maids.
There are 2 pools and a kiddies pool, plenty of sunbeds and plenty of tables and chairs, inside and outside, for meals.
We had a fantastic time here and have booked for next May, did this with ICR while we were there, book early if you can.
There is also British TV in the rooms.
