Hi, well we were in Icmeler 1st - 8th May and had a brilliant time (as usual) this was our 12th time (I think) and it was great, stayed in old village @ Castle Apts- very traditional, simple & clean.
We went several nites and afternoons to Sevgi Bar (opposite S Hotel) this bar is great and has a fab atmosphere, made better by Mehmet working here, who we have known for many years, cafe Anne still is serving excellent cakes! and Oz @ The Dilhan was looking very well as usual.... the weather was fantastic - blue skys and not a cloud for the entire holiday....We went on a boat trip (lazy day bays) which was great but the temp of the sea was a bit on the cold side!!
We went to see Charlie @ Charlies Restaurant and he too is very well but no King this year.
We ate a couple of nights at The Bonjour ( we have stayed here 5 times before) the food was excellent and Fonzie & Taxin were good fun, the new owner has kept the hotel to the excellent standard that the prevous owner Hassan always kept the hotel in..
We have booked again for next May 6th - 13th and cant wait.. got great price flights fro Aegean.
