Me and two of my friends flew from Manchester on 22nd September flying with a turkish airline and we stayed in a private villa.
As you can imagine me and the girls were very excited on the way to the airport. Once we arrived at the airport we checked in which was fine and there wasnt many people in front of us so got through pretty quickly. Once through security, etc we headed straight for the bar
only had time for one drink then the gates opened. We all sat together and the actual flight was very good and taking off and landing was good too.
Once we arrived at Dalaman the excitement really started to kick in
Got through passport and visa control fairly quickly.
Bags came through very quick as always
Once we had our bags we nipped into the duty free shop then went to find our ICR Transfer who was waiting for us but kindly let us have a cigarette before getting on the minibus. No problems with transfer and before we knew it we could see Marmaris!
When we drove into Icmeler we all felt like we had arrived home. We stayed in a private villa. So dropped cases off and headed out to get water and bits and bobs for brekkie.
First night
We headed to Deja vu to say hello to the boys who work there who we met the year before. It was nice to catch up and see the friendly people once again
Where we eat
We eat at Deja Vu, Pop In, Titanic, Charlies Place twice, Venice twice. Every meal was gorgeous and would defo go back to all of them again. We have friends in all of these so it was nice to catch up with everyone. And of course not to forget the efes and sex on the beach
We made lots of new turkish friends and swapped e-mail addresses and hope to keep in contact. Have to say we spent most evenings in Venice where all the lads made you feel so welcome and the entertainment was very good.
We did go to marmaris for one night and we had a fab time.
This was our 4th visit in 12 months and did notice some changes. A few bars, etc closed as other people have said.
All of a sudden it's the last night
As our flight was only leaing 05:25 we had some time to kill so got ready for our last night out, went round to all the different bars where we'd made friends to say our goodbyes and decided to spend our last night in Venice because we loved it that much.
Return Transfer
ICR Transfer was right on time and we had a fun journey, the driver played music and we all sang along all the way there which made the journe fly by.
The flight home was on time but can't say much more than that because i slept all the way home
One thing i've got to say is what on earth to Manchester Airport do with cases? It took soooooo long for them to come through!
Got home about 9ish this morning and really really want to go back and if i had enough holidays left i think i would!
Well i guess i'll just have to countdown till next year
Icmeler is still as magical as ever and really can't wait to go back next year.....now lets have a look at those flights!
