My Holiday Review

I have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday in paradise and this is my review.........Arrived at Doncaster Airport on the 2nd September for a flight to Icmeler at 6.20pm (or so I thought!!!) four hour delay other half was not best pleased but I was not too worried as I was looking forward to what would be at the other end. After a safe flight and a pretty good transfer (no comfort stop thank god after the flight delay) we arrived outside the Sun Village Apartments at 7.30am on the 3rd September. Having stayed at these apartments last year we said our hello's to Mehmet, Jamie, Mama and Papa and retired to our room having decided not to waste anytime sleeping!! we dropped our bags got changed into something a little cooler and set off for a walk to refresh our memorys with a big smile on our faces. Our days were spent by the swimming pool trying to get a tan!! and our nights were spent in our favourite place "Friends Bar" in the main square where we met up with our "friends" from the last five years it was like we only saw them a week ago when we arrived they were so pleased to see us as were we to see them. The food was fantastic as usual and the company amazing as always. I am afraid to say we did not eat our evening meal anywhere else but we did have plenty of breakfasts and afternoon snacks in Mr. Chefs, Ozzy's, Romance, Venice, Majestic, Deniz Kapizi, Waterfall, Las Vegas to name but a few. We saw the usual shows - Michael Jackson, Break Dancers, Mummy Show, Robot Show all still as funny as the last time. After five visits to Icmeler we finally decided to try a "very slow" walk to Marmaris the scenic way! and boy were we slow but what a pleasure it was and some wonderful views I wish we could have walked back but were way too tired (or lazy!) so we caught the dolmus. All too soon it was Tuesday 8th September and our last night how we wished we had booked for two weeks (we definately will next year) I had been trying to pluck up the courage to have a tattoo all week nagging at my OH should I or shouldn't I (I was scared of the pain!!) I finally decided to do it and after some dutch courage I headed to the underground market and had my first tattoo just a small one on my wrist and how pleased am I as I now have a permanent of our second home!!!! We had a smooth flight back to Doncaster and all too soon we were back home eagerly looking forward to our next return to our "second home" . Sorry if this was a bit long I could have said lots more but I did not want to bore you all I will try and post some pictures soon
