Flight to Dalaman was fine and ICR transfer fab as usual, my heart skipped its usual beat when i saw icmeler on the left ... i was 'home' again.
Arrived at the Elif about 7.15am with a lovely welcome, had a room on the top floor with the wonderful view we are always desperate to see. We unpacked before going for a walk along the beach watching icmeler waking up with stalls, resturants and the beach boys all getting prepared for another day of making us all feel very special
We were soon on the beach soaking up the hot sun which was apsolute bliss talking to our friends and meeting new ones along the way.
The next 10 days were just wonderful, we went on the Captain Bullshits boat trip..... amazing!!! had breakfast at his restaurant first before being picked up to go to the marina left at 10am stopped at a few bays ...we even swam in a cave!!!!had a BBQ lunch music entertained before getting back at 5pm we had such a good time with loads of fun. Met 3 couples on board so we arranged to have dinner with them on the Friday eve at Captain Bullshits restaurant before going on his Moonlight cruise ...WOW
it was fabulous just one big party!!! no sunbeds just tables and chairs, entertainment ,dancing and loud music....fabulous! so its a definate for next year.
We eat at Elif resturant, Blue Rainbow, Cupids, Yakamoz, Mr Cook, 3 Bells all had wonderful food ...Cupids was my favourite as they did the chicken dish i normally have at the Love Boat so Yummy!!
We also had dinner at the Janas Dream in Marmaris a friend has a partnership in the business, the food was gorgeous so a couple of days later we walked to Marmaris and went for breakfast
We had breakfast at Majestic, 3Bells and Valentinos all really lovely and very filling so no need to eat again till evening dinner.
We drank and danced at the Hobgoblin Bar, Elivis Bar, Eastenders, Yakaomoz, Blue Rainbow, Joe's, And the best was Linekas as we are soul and mowtown girls !!!
But as you can see Icmeler has everything we love, with fabulous people who make our holiday such a wonderful place to spend time.
Saying goodbye to everybody is getting more difficult each time i leave. A little bit more of my heart is left behind
but i have to wait till next June before i am back where i love to be. My walks to the cafe de lamar were special first thing in the morning, it really is a place for your thoughts
Seeing Sharon and Donna at ICR is always so lovely, although we were due to fly home with XL we had nothing to worry about as they had it all under control .... shame we had to fly back as sheduled but hey thanx a million girls and ICR your simply the best
Role on next year but i have been fortunate enough to be there twice this year again, so i guess i have to be patient like everybody else
