Our transfer was a nightmare (we booked these with Icmelertravelcentre/tunga travel never booked it despite being promised they would) and we ended up waiting an hour and a half before they admitted it wasn't booked and had to get a transfer at the airport taxi place and then after agreeing a price with one of the drivers and the Icmelertravelcentre/tunga travel guy, the guy wanted more money. Then he couldn't find Rhodes apartments! Nightmare. We had a police escort and our transfer was over 3 hours in the end!
Anyway back to the Rhodes! The apartments were lovely and clean, a good size. The folk were very friendly indeed. This changed a little when they realised we were going out for meals but they were still hospitable enough. They overcharged us for air con/safe as we were charged £90 for 12 days! Then it turns out the prices were wrong on here as they hadn't called ICR to let them know! Tracey got that sorted for us though (thanks Tracey!).
It was about 7-10 mins from the main thoroughfare but this was fine. It was a nice walk, although could be stiffling some days. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. Tried Ozzies but had a very unpleasant experience there. They were abs lovely though but wouldn't go back.
The sunbeds were really comfy and if you got one at the side of the bar they were sunny from about 8.30 to about 18.30! The only issue we found was that there were two women who used the sunbeds who were from another hotel and they had a bit of a cheek as they left their towels on the sunbeds the whole time! They never appeared until about 2pm so anyone wanting to use them couldn't. There also were a couple of days where guests brough in 6 friends and we couldn't get any of the sunny beds. Bit of a shame but we just went out for a walk those days.
The maid was lovely and gave Marj a gift at the end of the holiday. She cleaned every single day and the apartments were always spotless.
The pool was big, although I couldn't use it because of a burst ear drum
The food was nice, although a little pricier than the restaurants, hence we tended to go out for food to Mr Chef or Romance Palace or Titanic or Waterfall or whatever.
Would def consider coming back to these apparts, if we go back to Icmeler.
Admin edit: just a note about the prices of air con on our sites, if it states that the price is £4 per day for air con and they try to charge more then please get in touch with us at the office as we sign a contract stating these prices so apartment owners are not allowed to put these prices up in ANY apartments.
