Alvaro review 09.06.08 to the 16.0608

Postby sue.c » 19 Jun 2008 11:55

Managed to escape there once again for only one week just a little get away me and the hubby. had an excellent time, got a lovely welcome off every one, Zaza full of mischieve and cheek this year, but who can blame him after his daughters illness last year. She was on holiday with her mum, she is lovely and looking and doing very well. Eate in the Alvaro Lemon Tree and meals were lovely and as always Nico loving the camera. Went over to Noels to see the lads in there agian a lovely meal we were in there when Turkey beat Switzerland atmosphere was fanastic and a visit to see Gogo at the red lion again a lovely meal, was not to impressed with the service in Venice they were to busy trying to out do the magestic with the singing. Weather was getting hotter day by day, but a cool drink soon sorted that out.

I wanted to return in August but as it is my daughtrs 18th she picked the holiday this year and she picked Egypt i do not want to go would rather go back to my second home icmeler, but going to book for next year.

The rumour is the holiday company want to take over the private apartments on the alvaro site but no one knows what is happening with that yet. So our last night came and got a lovely send off managed to hold back the tears. I will load some photos on when my daughter has finished studing for her A levels as i need her help so bye for now wish i was in icmeler

Thanks for the review. We popped into the Alvaro last week for a drink, just to have a week look at the place.

Quite impressive.

I've booked a villa at the Alvaro (had written confirmation from Ozcan at the time which was a good few months ago) but I've been trying to contact Ozcan just for peace of mind but can't get hold of him. I haven't paid for it yet and I don't want to arrive a t 3.00am with my daughter to find that we don't have a room

Is he normally reliable with his reservations or should I keep trying to get hold of him???

Thanks
BB
